Job Purpose
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will provide scientific and medical support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key stakeholders across Australia, with a focus on the therapeutic areas of menopause and osteoporosis. This is a dedicated field-based role requiring frequent travel, designed to strengthen medical engagement and support the company’s women’s health portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with select HCPs, KOLs, and medical societies
- Deliver accurate, balanced, and timely scientific and clinical information on company products
- Provide medical and scientific support for educational events
- Capture and report medical insights to inform company strategy and decision-making
- Support cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing,) with medical expertise in line with marketing strategy and sales team requirements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, and regulatory requirements
Capability Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–2 years’ experience in an MSL role or related medical/clinical function
- Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, other relevant degree
- Understanding of women’s health, will be beneficial to the role
- Proven ability to work independently in a field-based, national role
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively (predominantly Eastern Seaboard, with broader Australia-wide responsibilities)
- Driving license
