Financial Planning Analyst - Sao Paulo

Scope of responsibility
Support the execution of financial planning activities, including forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses for the Brazil region. Responsible for financial analysis, reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Collaboration with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and optimization. No direct team management responsibilities but significant influence on financial decisions and budget management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the financial planning process, including forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses
- Conduct complex financial analyses to inform strategic decisions
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with departments to understand financial requirements and provide analytical support
- Conduct cost reviews and identify financial optimization opportunities
- Review accounting reclassifications to ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Conduct inventory transactions and support adjustments
- Collaborate with internal and external audit teams during audits
- Analyse and interpret financial data to identify significant trends and variations
- Performing analysis, financial planning and providing recommendations to the CFO
Minimum Requirements (experience, education & skills)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning, or financial analysis
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Proven professional experience in the Brazilian financial market
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced level in English
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently
- Previous experience with start-up environment and the Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Office 365, Power BI, and Pharmaceutical Price Adjustments will be considered a differential
- Highly motivated and self-disciplined Financial Analyst with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience in prioritizing multiple demands and the ability to respond with flexibility to changing deadlines
- A skilled communicator to build strong working relationships with coworkers and clients
- Proactive in identifying financial optimization opportunities and implementing improvements
- Adaptable to changing business needs and capable of making informed, quick decisions
